Gillian Rae Fournier, BFA, CAPT Member
Therapist in Training, Gestalt Institute of Toronto

I trust in the human ability to heal.

We may not know what it is about ourselves that needs the healing. We might just
know that things aren't quite working.  Humans heal through relationship and it’s a process. A very worthy one.

My intention in the therapeutic relationship is to meet each individual where they are in their own unique process of living. Present with each other in the ‘here a now’, we will aim to deepen feeling, unfold awareness, explore novel experience and discover choice again. Perhaps we might even get a couple of good laughs in too. I meet the other with great sensitivity and curiosity. Creating a safe container for exploration, I hope to encourage in each individual a more fully felt and supported experience of living. A former dancer and choreographer, I have been training with the Gestalt Institute of Toronto in Relational Psychotherapy for the last 4 years. This experience has been extraordinary, transformative and has led me back to my creative process. I knew I would always work with the body in spontaneous play and process, I just didn’t know it would be through the art of therapy. I believe therapy is one of the best tools in the toolbox to help a fellow human cope in the worst of times, the best of times and every possible life experience in between.

Services Offered: Affordable Gestalt Psychotherapy.

Kerri-Anne Lambie Hom, RHN

Registered Homeopath and Holistic Nutritionist

416 889 9392

What is Homeopathy?

Constitutional homeopathic prescribing is a holistic system of medicine that has been practiced for more than 200 years. It is based on the philosophy that the body, mind and emotions are not really separate at all but rather fully integrated.  Based on this understanding a homeopath seeks a remedy that fits all of a patient’s physical, mental and emotional symptoms. Though some people’s symptoms may be complex, a well-trained homeopath will know which symptoms should be noted and can choose an effective, individualized remedy.

The three categories of Homeopathy:

First Aid: used commonly for bruises, sprains, cuts and minor burns

Acute: for temporary conditions that eventually go away like colds and flus

Constitutional: the treatment of a person in totality, including past and present symptoms

Homeopathy’s goal is to not suppress or remove symptoms. It is to recognize and remove the underlying cause. This is why a homeopath will work toward understanding the whole person- including the mind, body and emotional states before prescribing a remedy.

Kerri found homeopathy quite organically when as a young mother she sought out gentle yet effective treatments for her sick children. Instantly, Homeopathy resonated with her and she’s since made it her life’s passion to live wholisticallywith the belief that we are all greater than the sum of our parts. Her understanding that homeopathy acts deep within the most inner part of our selves to find the root cause forour emotional, mental and physical illness is what drives her thriving practice. Kerri encourages dialogues about wholistic living and is an active member within her community advocating to others about the efficacy of homeopathy. She is a graduate of the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine where is received her D.H.M.H.S. While there Kerri also received special accreditation as Master Clinician for her additional clinical work. She is regulated within the province of Ontario and is in good standing with the College of Homeopaths. Homeopathy is a Regulated profession within Ontario and is covered by some extended health care plans.

Kerri believes in the healing capabilities that food can provide and uses her education in nutrition to help guide people towards a happy, healthy and sustainable life. A healthy attitude towards food is just as important as food itself and Kerri strives to find the bridge that connects enjoyment and nourishment. She encourages people to wake with the same enthusiasm for breakfast as they would the brightest sunniest day.

Her connection to work she loves and has a passion for.
Deciding to change career directions completely and enter the health and wellness industry, she enrolled in a full-time college diploma studying Advanced Spa Therapy, graduating with honours and the Student of the Year award in 2014.
