Gillian Rae Fournier, BFA, CAPT Member
Therapist in Training, Gestalt Institute of Toronto

I trust in the human ability to heal.

We may not know what it is about ourselves that needs the healing. We might just
know that things aren't quite working.  Humans heal through relationship and it’s a process. A very worthy one.

My intention in the therapeutic relationship is to meet each individual where they are in their own unique process of living. Present with each other in the ‘here a now’, we will aim to deepen feeling, unfold awareness, explore novel experience and discover choice again. Perhaps we might even get a couple of good laughs in too. I meet the other with great sensitivity and curiosity. Creating a safe container for exploration, I hope to encourage in each individual a more fully felt and supported experience of living. A former dancer and choreographer, I have been training with the Gestalt Institute of Toronto in Relational Psychotherapy for the last 4 years. This experience has been extraordinary, transformative and has led me back to my creative process. I knew I would always work with the body in spontaneous play and process, I just didn’t know it would be through the art of therapy. I believe therapy is one of the best tools in the toolbox to help a fellow human cope in the worst of times, the best of times and every possible life experience in between.

Services Offered: Affordable Gestalt Psychotherapy

Allison Hillier, MA, CAPT

Life/Small Business Coach, Therapist in Training at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto

(647) 360-3489

Hitting the same roadblocks in life, relationships, career or business is frustrating. It’s difficult to see that despite your best efforts to move forward, you’re constantly back where you started. While coaching offers a goal-oriented approach to creating a great life, sometimes it’s not enough. If you’re circling back over the same issues, repeating the same relationships, encountering the same professional problems, a new set of goals and a well-organized to-do list aren’t likely to do the trick.

Therapy removes the pressure to perform, allowing you to slow down and become aware of yourself in new ways. By making space for all of you, not just the part aiming to succeed, you can regain a sense of wholeness and chart a new path with intention. That’s why I practice coaching as a subset of my work as a therapist in training, not a separate practice.

I have a long history riding the emotional rollercoaster of entrepreneurship and am dedicated to creating a healthy and supportive life for myself and others. I’ve started five small businesses in three countries, while earning three post-secondary degrees and raising a child into adulthood, and I’ve lived to talk about it. I am also the author of The Art of Small Business Design: A Guide to Moving from Idea to Livelihood for the Creative, Curious and Cash-Strapped.

Services offered: life coaching, small business coaching for entrepreneurs, psychotherapy

Louise Wall

My passion is for supporting people in difficult times, honouring how they chose to navigate their journey, despite physical, psychiatric, emotional & social limitations.

After decades of clinical practice, I have a deep respect for the diversity and dignity of the human spirit, in joy or in crisis; in stability and in transition. I believe it is our birthright to be supported to come into balance in our physical, emotional and spiritual lives.

Psychotherapy became my calling after I had worked with people as an Occupational Therapist (OT) for almost 3 decades.  My experience includes working in physical medicine & psychiatric settings in renowned teaching hospitals such as Sunnybrook and Toronto General & I ran a successful private practice with clients who had experienced physical and emotional trauma.

My experience in Toronto, London (England) and Scotland includes working in psychiatry (in & out patients) and neurology; with adolescents; geriatrics; multi-organ transplantation; palliative care; addictions; chronic pain; attachment trauma.

I am a 5th-year psychotherapist in training with the Gestalt Institute of Toronto (the 1st school to receive full CRPO accreditation). I am an EMDR practitioner and am studying Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing (Level B2 completed), as well as taking the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s 3 one week modules of Group Intervention Training.
I integrate cutting edge neuroscience-based treatments (e.g. EMDR an extensively researched & proven treatment for trauma) with traditional healing methods, after studying Contemporary Shamanism for 4 years with ICSS here in Toronto, as well as in Arizona. I practice meditation and have completed 10 day silent Vipassana retreats, meditating for over ten hours per day and use MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction) into my practice.

I am a mother, an artist and a lover of animals and nature.

I am honoured to be able to offer my clients warm, non judgemental support in a safe, beautifully comfortable therapy room and my commitment is to co-create a space of grounded, compassion with you, so you feel safe exploring ANY issues.

Eva Sin

Who are we to play small when our purpose in this lifetime is to shine bright and live our fullest life by showing up, and being seen? When we embrace our shadow with our light, our vulnerability with our resilience, our fears with our confidence, and our denial with our acceptance, we intertwine our inner wisdom with our inner critic and honour the essential self. We reclaim the divine light of our wholeness when we can acknowledge, accept, and take responsibility for what is ours. We may feel like we are broken, but our wounds don’t define us; rather, they lay the foundation from which to reconnect with our powerful true selves. Allow me to support your journey and guide you on your sacred path through spiritual psychotherapy. This may include inner child work, rebalancing chakras, body psychotherapy, guided meditations, energy healing, or a combination of these treatments that best resonates with your unique and beautiful Self.

I identify as a cis-gendered, racialized Asian woman and my personal and professional practice is operationalized through a reflective, equity-seeking, anti-oppression/anti-racism lens. I have had the privilege of working and developing meaningful connections with many diverse communities in my 20+ years of experience in front-line education, support and case management work in commercial, government, and not-for-profit sectors. These include racialized communities, LGBTQQ2SI individuals, Indigenous peoples, people living with HIV/AIDS, newcomer populations, people who use substances, and sexual trauma survivors. With my educational background in Sociology and Psychology, individual and group counselling, and creative facilitation I am thrilled to be completing my Spiritual Psychotherapy training at the Transformational Arts College in the Spring of 2018 and applying my skills, knowledge and experience to raising the power of the divine light in everyone I encounter. My personal commitment to embracing my own light lies in practicing individual and group meditations, Pilates, Qi Gong, taking nature walks, baking, and laughing every day.

I look forward to connecting and co-creating a meaningful and transformative journey with you. For any questions or to book a 50 minute session, contact me at
