Sheena also has a passion in the beauty industry, where she can help others bring their best face forward when it comes to their day to day appearance. Because of that, she not only certified as an eyelash extension technician, but she is also certified and insured in a permanent makeup technique known as microblading. Microblading is a semi permanent form of tattooing that was first discovered in Asia 20 plus years ago, and has become a very demanding trend today. A clean blade is used to penetrate the epidermal layer of skin, where the pigments used will penetrate, to create a soft, feather like stroke pattern that mimics the look of natural hair shafts, for natural looking eyebrows.
Microblading has become a popular cosmetic treatment option for those who have alopecia on the eyebrows, have been cancer survivors, or want a more defined or fuller looking eyebrows. A non toxic blend of pigments is used that is friendly for almost all skin types. If you tend to have sensitive skin that is allergic to other cosmetic procedures or pigments, a patch test can be done to determine whether or not microblading is a safe option for you.
Sheena will provide a complimentary consultation if you are interested and would like to explore this exciting beauty procedure a little further!Working in health care has taught her that the overall well being of people not only includes how they are medically treated for illnesses, but also addressing their outward appearances in a manner that makes them feel comfortable in their own skin.
She believes taking care of your body is a two way process: the inside and outside. She says, “everyone is their own version of beautiful, and it is my goal to help others look at themselves and feel great about how wonderfully and uniquely designed they are. I find so much happiness to help bring out what they already have and live everyday feeling confident, gorgeous, and comfortable!”
Sheena looks forward to meeting all the lovely people that choose her to be a part of their journey!
